Jim joined the Pinnacle Presbyterian staff in March 2019. He was born in Indiana and moved to Connecticut as a young child.

After graduating high school he became a licensed contractor in Plumbing, Heating, and Fire Sprinklers. Jim was President and Owner of Jim Shaw Plumbing and Heating which he started in 1992. He was also the head trustee of a land holding company, Roaring Brook Park, Inc., for many years until he retired and moved to Arizona in 2013.

He is married to his wife, Theresa, since 1981.  Jim is a volunteer, domestic traveler, and a gourmand.
